James images have been seen within the pages of over 50 books and he is the author of the best selling ‘How to Photograph Cars’. A new multi-media version of this book will soon be available.

‘Art of the Formula One Race Car‘ book was acclaimed by the critics winning the  International media award for best book of the year and has been followed by two more studio books, ’Art of the Super Car’ and ‘Art of the Le Mans Race Car’ and the self-penned ‘Sports Cars’ all published by Motorbooks international.

’Bonneville: Portrait of a Legend’ published by Haynes in 2011 has received a 5 star Amazon rating as have ‘The Car Book’  and ‘The Motorbike Bike’ by Dorling Kindersley for which James was a major contributor.
